MAN’s fuel tanker truck is a 6x4 Prime Mover configured with special features useful for the Fuel Tanker segment. The Prime Movers can be offered with 315/80 R 22.5 Tubeless tyres or if required, with 325/95 R24 Tube type tyres. Apart from Prime Movers, to meet other requirements for Fuel Transportation, customers can also choose Fuel Tanker bodies mounted on rigid MAN chassis in various configurations like 2, 3 or 4 axle trucks and with rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.

Ariston strengthens its leadership position in the Middle East and Africa and unveils three new hero products

Continuing its commitment to simplifying lives through innovation, Whirlpool Corporation, the leading global home appliance manufacturer, has unveiled an all-new innovative kitchen concept for its Ariston brand. The unveiling took place at an exclusive event held in Bodrum, Turkey, which was attended by Ariston partners in the Middle East and Africa region.

The event theme was a celebration of cooking through a new experience of flavor in the Ariston kitchen with chefs Daniele Paralovo from Italy and Deema Hajjawi from Jordan who took guests on a sensational culinary tour using Ariston cooking products, during the breathtaking gala dinner organized at the event.

As part of the event, three new hero products were unveiled – a cutting edge dishwasher, a gentle steam oven, and a Natis washer-dryer, geared to bring superior performance, impeccable results and personal preference in to your kitchen.

Nestlé tops 2018 Access to Nutrition Index

Nestlé is ranked first in the 2018 Access to Nutrition Index (ATNI) released yesterday for its overall performance in its nutrition-related commitments. This confirms Nestlé’s leadership in nutrition, health and wellness as well as our contribution to tackling the global challenges of obesity and undernutrition.

Nestlé also ranked second for its marketing of breast milk substitutes. This reflects Nestlé’s commitment to policies, practices and compliance with the World Health Organization’s International Code of Marketing of Breast Milk Substitutes.

ATNI said that the Nestlé’s "overall nutrition governance and management systems are comprehensive, well-structured, transparent and applied globally with a clear accountability structure".

The index highlights Nestlé’s global Board-approved nutrition strategy, including a comprehensive set of nutrition-related targets that are directly linked to the Sustainable Development Goals.

ATNI 2018 assesses the contribution of 22 food and beverage companies to address global nutrition challenges across seven categories: governance, products, accessibility, marketing, lifestyles, labelling and engagement.

  • Further reduce sugars by 5%. Since 2000, the company has reduced sugars by over 34%;
  • Further reduce salt by 10%. Since 2005, the company has reduced salt by over 20%;
  • Complete the commitment taken in 2014, to reduce saturated fats by 10% in all relevant products that do not meet WHO recommendations.

Canon Middle East launches direct operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) through newly established company

Canon Middle East and Ali Zaid Al Quraishi & Brothers formally establish Canon Saudi Arabia to support growing demand for business solutions

Canon Middle East (CME), a provider of imaging technologies and services, today announced that it is expanding its regional presence by establishing direct operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia(KSA).
