Muscat, Oman – 27 September 2026 -Mercedes-Benz introduces the all-new CLA Hybrid to Oman, bringing a new generation of design, digital intelligence and hybrid efficiency to the brand’s four-door coupé.

The CLA marks an important technological milestone for Mercedes-Benz. Developed on the new Mercedes-Benz Modular Architecture (MMA), it is the first model generation to introduce the brand’s new technology architecture and the first Mercedes-Benz to feature the in-house-developed Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS).

For the CLA Hybrid, the Mercedes-Benz Modular Architecture (MMA) provides a highly flexible technology foundation designed to support both electrified powertrains and next-generation digital systems. Combined with MB.OS, it brings the CLA’s vehicle architecture, software and user experience together in a new generation of Mercedes-Benz technology.

A new expression of contemporary luxury:

The new CLA makes an immediate impression with its athletic proportions and unmistakable Mercedes-Benz design language. Its illuminated radiator grille, featuring the iconic central three-pointed star and Mercedes-Benz pattern, creates a distinctive presence, while the available star-shaped lighting signature at the front and rear adds a recognisable visual identity day and night.

Inside, the CLA continues this sense of sophistication with a refined, digital-first cabin designed around comfort and intuitive interaction. The panoramic roof creates an enhanced feeling of openness, while the optional MBUX Superscreen brings a seamless digital experience across the dashboard.

Efficiency meets driving flexibility:

The new CLA Hybrid combines a newly developed 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with an electrified eight-speed dual-clutch transmission featuring an integrated electric motor.

At lower urban speeds and when power requirements are limited, the CLA Hybrid can drive purely electrically. The vehicle can also coast with the drivetrain decoupled at speeds of up to around 100 km/h, while regenerative braking helps recover energy during deceleration.

The electric motor can provide an additional boost of up to 22 kW, while the system is engineered to deliver seamless transitions between electric and combustion power. Together, these technologies offer an intelligent balance between efficiency, responsiveness and everyday driving comfort.

Technology that moves with you:

Mercedes-Benz has further developed its driver assistance and parking systems under the MB.DRIVE umbrella. Depending on specification, these technologies can support drivers with functions such as adaptive cruise control, parking assistance and lane keeping function.

A distinctive presence, day and night:

The new CLA's lighting design further reinforces its unmistakable identity. Available MULTIBEAM LED headlights feature daytime running lights shaped in the form of the Mercedes-Benz star, connected by a distinctive light strip.

At the rear, star-shaped taillights are connected by an optional illuminated design element, creating a signature lighting graphic that gives the CLA a strong presence from every angle.

The result is a vehicle that remains instantly recognisable as a Mercedes-Benz, while establishing a new visual identity for the CLA.
