Shamal Plastic Industries LLC was founded in the year 2001 in the Sultanate of Oman. Backed by renowned names in the industry like Ominvest, Sumitomo Corporation, Japan, Said Salem Al Wahaibi Group (Assarain) & Mohsin Haider Darwish Llc (MHD), the organization enjoys great financial strength and optimum alignment of operations vis a vis industry requirement.
Manufacturing Unit:
The manufacturing facility is located in Sohar, inside the Sohar Industrial Estate, the well-connected industrial hub of Sultanate of Oman. Our factory is situated just 10 Km away from the Sohar port. Apart from other benefits Sohar enjoys, its equal proximity to Dubai and Muscat which are both about 2 hours’ drive by road, gives it excellent accessibility.
Equipped with three state of the art Italian Omipa extrusion lines, Shamal Plastic offers a wide variety of thermoplastic sheets conforming to international standards. Our highly skilled and experienced staff, ensures that all our products maintain the highest levels of quality at all times and orders are executed on schedule, each time.
Our product portfolio includes sheets made from Polycarbonate, Acrylic, GPPS, PETG, PMMA capped ABS sheets, Mirror, SAN & ABS in various thickness, colors and surface designs. Apart from standard sizes, we welcome good orders in custom sizes. Over the years, Shamal Plastic Industries Llc has developed into one of the largest manufacturers of various polymer sheets with a combined capacity of over 25000 metric tons per year.
In 2019, Shamal Plastic started producing Mirror sheets in Acrylic, GPPS, and Polycarbonate in various colors and thicknesses. Our Mirror sheets are of the highest quality and are exported to Europe, the USA, the Far East, and all Middle Eastern countries

Our Location:
We are located in Sohar, Oman, with a sales office in UK for our European sales activity. Our location offers excellent accessibility through the Sohar seaport and airport, ensuring seamless service for our global customers.
Commercial Strength:
Our three state-of-the-art Italian “OMIPA” Extrusion Lines, Profile Sheet Machine, and Thermoforming Machine allow us to offer a wide variety of thermoplastic sheets and products. Our strong partnerships with raw material suppliers like Sabic, Covestro, Evonik, and others help us to ensure high quality and consistency in product and delivery standards.
